Poinsettia Christmas Trees - Horton Plaza

The Poinsettia Christmas Tree is a staple of Horton Plaza Christmas.  Atop the Poinsettia Christmas Tree is a yellow flower for the star.  This year it is less obvious than last.

The Dublin Square Pub Irish Pub

Night time scene of Dublin Square Pub on Fourth Street. There are Christmas wreaths with white lights and red bows as well as a clock with a lighted face and an American and Irish flag.

This is a night time scene of the Dublin Square Pub in San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter. There are several Christmas Wreaths with white lights and red bows. There are small tree shaped shrubs with green christmas lights.

The Dublin Square Irish Pub goes all out for Christmas.  It really contributes to the old worldish charm of the place.  The pub often has live Irish music and sometime Irish dancing.    There are also a number of big screen TVs for watching American, or European football (rugby or soccer).  The info for the Dubline Square is as follows:

One of the bigest Christmas displays in San Diego is the Christmass tree strung between the two towers of the DownTown San Diego Marriott Hotel.  This display has been a fixture of San Diego Christmas for some times.  It has been different colours over the years.  One year it was all green.  I believe this is the first time that has blinking lights.
